Take the DNR Certification Exam at the WWOA Conference!

We’re excited to offer a new opportunity at this year’s conference: attendees can take the DNR Operator Certification Exam on-site!

Exam Date:
Tuesday, October 13
Two sessions will be available:

  • Session 1: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Session 2: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

To participate, you must register directly with the DNR by submitting an exam application.

Application Deadline: Tuesday, September 15

  • Requests for refunds of conference registration must be made in writing and postmarked on or before September 23, 2026 to be considered. Requests for refunds of conference registration postmarked after September 23, 2026, will not be honored unless they are requested as a result of serious illness, death in the family, or other unforeseeable emergency.

Exhibit Booths

Booth Registration Fee(s):

Early Registration (THROUGH September 18th): $700
Late Registration (EFFECTIVE September 19th): $875

Additional Booth Staffing: $190

*Each booth includes ONE conference registration fee and membership. Everyone staffing the booth must either register for the conference OR add on an additional staff fee. To register for the conference, please visit the conference registration form. If the additional booth personnel are not registering for the conference but will just be staffing the booth, please register them by selecting their registration type as the additional booth personnel fee of $190 when filling out the form.

 


Booth Description:

8' X 10' space, piped and draped, one 8' skirted table and two chairs, identification sign, and one 110 electrical outlet. Additional electrical connections or supplies may be ordered from the Exhibiting Set-Up Company. All exhibitors will receive a separate set-up packet.

Please Note: Trailers are not permitted on site for this event. All vendor setups must fit within the designated space provided.

WWOA Youth Apprenticeship Involvement Grant

 

Help Build the Next Generation of Wisconsin’s Water & Wastewater Professionals

WWOA is offering a Youth Apprenticeship Involvement Grant to provide funding to one WWOA member municipality to support participation in the Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship Program during the 2026–2027 school year.

WWOA doesn’t want cost to be the reason not to participate. This grant helps offset a portion of youth apprentice wage costs while providing students with hands-on experience exploring careers in water and wastewater operations.

Selected facilities must demonstrate the capacity to provide meaningful, supervised, hands-on experience aligned with water and wastewater operations and the core competencies outlined in the Water Resources Career Pathway.

Grant Participation Requirements

  • Commitment to 450 paid Youth Apprenticeship hours
  • Program term: May 2026 – August 2027
  • Employer participation required
  • Payroll documentation required for reimbursement
  • Up to two disbursements, maximum reimbursement capped at $3,000

The Symposium provides information on current issues related to biosolids and septage management, enabling municipal  officials,  plant  operators,  contractors,  and  consultants to respond proactively to new challenges. The Symposium has a tradition of providing a forum for discussion and  information exchange by assembling speakers who are recognized experts in their respective fields.
