The DNR Operator Certification Program is contacting active operators to inform you that we are currently experiencing staff shortages due to rapid turnover within our program. All paperwork and email/phone correspondence has been delayed. We apologize for any inconvenience these delays may have caused you or your business operations.

The Operator Certification Coordinator position is currently vacant, which we hope to fill by August 2024. Our Program has one full time employee and one part time employee to support over 7,000 active operators and businesses statewide. While we are working hard to fill the vacancy, we are also training additional staff to support program operations.

Below are our current estimated timeframes for processing common documents from the date they are received by our Program:
