07/04/2017: WWOA has been invited to participate in a project to understand and improve integration of distributed energy into water and wastewater utilities. This project is funded by the Water Research Foundation and the Water Environment and Reuse Foundation, the University of Queensland Australia, in partnership with Conrad Research Associates, The National Renewable Energy Lab, Policy Navigation, industry partners and others. The project is supported by partners including Corix, Metro Vancouver, American Water, Seattle Public Utilities, International Water Association, Siemens, California Public Utilities Commission, City of Vancouver, TUDelft, and Bioenergy Austrralia.
The purpose of this survey is to collect basic data and views, on water and wastewater utilities current distributed energy resources, and the potential of future distributed energy resources development at the water or wastewater utilities. It takes about 15 minutes for “stakeholders” and about a further 15 minutes for utilities. This survey is open for comment through July 31, 2017.
This is a unique opportunity for the story of energy efficiency and energy generation in wastewater treatment plants in Wisconsin. WWOA is asking for your participation in this survey. To take part in this short survey and give your input, go to: https://remsurvey.rem.sfu.ca/DER4625/
Your participation in this survey is voluntary, and your answers will be treated confidentially and anonymously. A summary of results will be included in the final report to the Water Research Foundation, which WWOA will receive a copy of.
Dr. Steven Kenway thanks you for your participation in this survey. If you have any questions about the study or survey, please contact Dr. Kenway at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
