WWOA Executive Secretary


The WWOA Board of Directors is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Executive Secretary, as described and posted below.

The Executive Secretary of the Wisconsin Wastewater Operators Association is appointed to a two-year term by the WWOA Board. The position is reviewed in December every two years.  The Executive Secretary works closely with the Board on the Association’s finances, communications, and the annual conference and other seminars.

Financial duties include basic accounting (currently using Quick Books software) and financial management activities. Communication duties involve communicating directly with WWOA members; providing information through The Clarifier magazine, WWOA Directory, and email newsletters; and providing input on website needs. Annual conference duties include preparing budgets, attending planning meetings, managing registrations, and overseeing conference and other seminar events.

The Executive Secretary serves as a non-voting member of all WWOA committees, serves as a liaison between WWOA and the Minnesota Wastewater Operators Association, and maintains communications with other related organizations.
