Wastewater Treatment Operator/Wastewater Treatment Foreman – The City of Fennimore (pop. 2,500) seeks to fill a full-time position in the wastewater department. The City of Fennimore has constructed a new activated sludge treatment plant operation, which fully came on-line in February 2019. The individual hired will work as part of a team responsible for day-to-day operation, maintenance and repair of the wastewater treatment plant and sanitary sewer collection system, with secondary responsibilities of assisting the water department.  Background in activated sludge treatment operations, laboratory work, pump maintenance, lift station and collection systems is preferred. SCADA and computer skills are also desired. A CDL license is required for this position, or ability to obtain within one year. The City of Fennimore offers a competitive wage and benefit package, including health insurance, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, and Wisconsin Retirement Program.  The regular pay rate for this position will depend on qualifications of the successful applicant, with a current range from $19.96 (OIT) to $26.80 (advanced).  An add-on wage is available for a successful candidate if chosen for the foreman position. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum 2 years of experience in wastewater with SCADA.
