TP or not TP - All your Total Phosphorus Questions Answered
Mark your calendars for the WWOA Post Conference Workshops which will be held virtually on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 and Wednesday, December 9, 2020. These workshops will be 3 hour sessions held from 12:30pm to 3:30pm each day and will address two key areas of interest in the wastewater industry.
Workshop #1 Filamentous Bacteria Identification and Recent Advancements will focus on wastewater activated sludge operations and introduce the attendees to the latest and greatest in filamentous bacteria identification. The presenter is Ryan Hennessy from Midwest Contract Operators.
Workshop #2 TP or not TP - All your Total Phosphorus Questions Answered will focus on total phosphorus analysis in the lab and will cover the three most common methods used to test for total phosphorus in wastewater. This workshop will cover testing, sample preservation, calibration, QC, data reporting, and documentation. Each of these aspects will be discussed in detail and will cover why there are certain requirements for these analyses. Several WI DNR tools will be shared to help lab technicians meet current requirements. Autumn Farrell an Audit Chemist with the WI DNR will be the presenter for the workshop.
Each Workshop will offer 3 hours of CECs for wastewater operators.
